COFI 2025 Convention Prince George, BC — We’ll Be There!

Find out what innovations and influences are reshaping the future of the forest sector in BC and the world at the 2025 COFI (BC Council of Forest Industries) Convention

The BC Council of Forest Industries (COFI) will hold its Annual Convention from April 2-4, 2025, at the Prince George Civic Centre. This year’s theme “Where Do We Stand? Strategies for Competitiveness and Sustainability” will lead discussions regarding new developments for forestry sector, including global trade, product diversification, wildfire resilience, and fibre supply

COFI represents members of the lumber, pulp and paper and manufactured wood producers across BC, advocating for its members and working with government, First Nations, communities and other partners to promote the forestry industry across British Columbia

We are excited to be a networking sponsor of this annual event. We look forward to the keynote speakers & panel discussions and networking with other members of the forestry industry including supply chain partners, workforce leaders, and decision-makers.

The convention starts at 6:00 pm on Wednesday, April 2nd with an Icebreaker reception and continues until Friday, April 4th with a wrap-up with the President & CEO, of COFI, Kim Haakstad.

The 18th Annual International Biomass Conference & Expo

Organized by BBI International and produced by Biomass Magazine, this event provides an arena where international bioenergy producers meet with industry suppliers, equipment manufacturers, project developers, policymakers and other stakeholders in the biomass industries for networking, learning and information sharing.

We’re Going to Florida for the USIPA Conference!

Join us in Miami Beach, Florida, for the US Industrial Pellet Association (USIPA) 2024 Conference. For three days in November, we will engage with professionals and enthusiasts from all over the world to exchange ideas, learn from each other, and discuss the global pellet industry.

The USIPA is a not-for-profit trade association whose main objective is to promote sustainability and safety in the US wood energy industry. As well, USIPA supports renewable energy policy development throughout the world and advocates for the wood energy sector as a solution to climate change.

We’re Going to San Antonio for the 2024 EWTA Info Fair!

We’ll be in San Antonio, Texas for the Engineered Wood Technology Association (EWTA) Info Fair 2024 this September.

EWTA’s  Info Fair is the association’s biggest networking event of the year. The show, held in conjunction with APA’s Annual Meeting, is an opportunity to meet and network with key decision-makers among the APA membership.

The Engineered Wood Technology Association (EWTA) is a nonprofit trade association representing product, equipment and service providers to the North American engineered wood products manufacturing industry. Based in Tacoma, Washington, the EWTA is a related organization of APA – The Engineered Wood Association, the leading North American association of structural engineered wood product manufacturers.
